šŖ[C]oaching: Core Business Beliefs
š¹ [H]ow To: Use Canva AI
[T]echnology:
Believe it or not, reading is actually one of my least favorite activities. š
I actually used to joke during one of my presentations when I asked the audience, āWho here likes to write?ā No one raised their hand, and I quickly responded, āGood, because no one likes to read.ā Yet, here we are. Iām writing, and youāre reading.
Regardless, I much prefer to digest content via podcast or YouTube.
Enter Podstash.
Itās a simple to use Chrome extension that allows me to āStashā any URL, which basically uses AI to summarize the webpage into a short podcast. šļø
Itās certainly not perfect, but I find the voices appealing, and I can actually automate a large part of my weekly research by auto-forwarding other emails and newsletters, as well as have it summarize and podcast longer YouTube videos.
If youāre curious, you can check out the AI podcast for last weekās Tech with Ty HEREā¬ ļø
Serious question, thoughā¦do you prefer reading this newsletter every week, or would you prefer it in a video/audio format?
Please reply to this email with your preference. Yes! We do actually read and respond to your replies!
[E]ducation:
Mortgage rates suck. Thatās all. Just wanted you to know in case you didnāt. š¤·
Just kiddingā¦
If you allow this to affect your business, please make sure to read the coaching section below. Specifically, adopt #3 of the āCore Entrepreneurial Beliefs.ā
Regardless of your preference for content digestion, Iāve enlisted the help of an expert in how/why mortgage rates are where they are today and how they have an inverse relationship with bonds. Check it out: ā¬ļøā¬ļø
[C]oaching:
We practice what we preach at my brokerage, and when months ago I said itās time to get back to basics, I meant it.ā¬ļøā¬ļø
Weāve recently been running a āBusiness Foundations Boot Campā every Wednesday at 10am at every office.
This week was on the importance of establishing beliefs.
Having well-defined beliefs makes it easy to set boundaries and decisions that support the life you want to live. Below are the beliefs that can fuel your decision making process and should become your businessā truths.
CORE ENTREPRENEURIAL BELIEFSš§
1. There is no growth without discomfort
2. I live in a world of abundance
3. The market does not and will not determine my income
4. My only limit is time
5. Focus is the key to success
6. I reap what I sow
7. Success stems from duplicable processes and systems
8. It is unacceptable for my business to earn $0
9. People have lived before me
10. Leverage is the key to abundance
11. Itās win-win or no deal
12. Cost is only an issue in the absence of value
REAL ESTATE SALES BELIEFS š”
13. Real estate sales can be a get-rich business
14. Real estate sales is basic
15. Real estate sales is a task business
16. I will not convert 100% of the leads I do not generate
17. People will trust and follow only what I can logically and tangibly explain
18. Itās unacceptable to leave the clientās money on the table
LISTING BELIEFS š
19. Homes sell for two reasons: price and exposure
20. The pricing game is all about justification
21. Pricing is neighborhood specific
22. Whatās put in motion stays in motion
23. Pricing homes is not an exact science
BUYER BELIEFS šļø
24. Time reveals all
25. Motivated, qualified and loyal people buy homes
26. Having a process reduces the risk that comes with buyers
27. If they wonāt meet me, they are not a buyer
28. āAā buyers deserve my immediate time and attention
Again, this isnāt rocket science, but this is a building block for developing a strong business plan centered around a set of core business truths.
If you want to attend one of these trainings, let me know! Theyāre FREE, and while they may seem basic, they are lacking in too many agentās businesses.
[H]ow To (with Abby):
Canva is among the many companies now integrating AI into their offerings. Personally, I am very excited about this because I use Canva for hours each day. Recently, they unveiled their āØāMagic StudioāāØ, a suite of design tools infused with artificial intelligence.
Magic Studio features ten distinct functions that enable users to employ prompts for generating images, texts, animations, videos, and editing or formatting.
Magic Design: Describe what you want to design and have special posts, presentations, or even videos created custom to your idea. Just type your idea in a few words or upload your own media, and Magic Design will generate a collection of custom templates.
Magic Grab: Pick any part of your photo to resize, edit, or move it.
Magic Switch: Change whiteboards and presentations into documents or translate your content. This feature helps you convert various forms of media into new formats.
Magic Expand: Make vertical photos horizontal, enlarge images, or fix framing.
Magic Morph: Input a prompt to apply special effects to any image or text you create, adding hues, patterns, textures, or other details.
Magic Edit: Remix your images with Canva's brush and AI inputs to edit and replace graphics. Add a vase of flowers onto the kitchen table, turn ugly carpet into tile, or add a painting to a boring wall.
Magic Media: Make videos from text or images or turn text into photos. Just write in a prompt into the āAI text-to-video generatorā.
Magic Write: Helps you write (or rewrite) captions, letters, paragraphs or other pieces of text with an assist from OpenAI prompts. For example, you can type "write a listing description," and Magic Write will generate the words.
Magic Animate: Add lively visuals to your design -- including fonts -- with the animation tool.
Magic Eraser: Polish up your images by removing unwanted elements (dirty dishes in the sink or pets wondering about a listing photo) with the eraser.
If you don't even know where to begin on how to use these tools, check out my video as I break down each of them. ā¬ļøā¬ļø
