šŸ“¹ [H]ow To: Create Killer Content

[T]echnology:

If you havenā€™t seen an ad for Temu, youā€™ve probably been living without internet access forā€¦awhile. āŒšŸ“±

Temu is like Amazon, but theyā€™ve gamified the entire shopping experience. When I say gamify, I mean itā€™s full on casino game with the number of awards and prizes that pop up.

Items are shipped directly from China and usually not the best quality.

So this week I decided to review a cheap set of microphones that plug directly into your iPhone. I figured for $8, these could be a decent upgrade for those looking to enhance their content on a budget. šŸ¤‘

Nope. āŒāŒ

These were worse than the regular phone microphones, by a lot.

You can check out the test footage here.

Save yourself the $8 and invest in better mics like these or Descript which gives you Studio Sound and super simple video editing!

My adviceā€¦stop fretting over the latest techā€¦start making valuable contentā€¦but steer clear of Temu for electronics. šŸƒ

Entertainment/Education

I browse TikTok a few times a week albeit sometimes for way too long. Sometimes I watch countless videos of funny pets or people doing dumb stuff and getting hurt, but more than anything, I love the marketing ideas. šŸ§

Iā€™ve heard of Liquid DeathšŸ’€, but Iā€™ve never tried it. If youā€™ve not heard of it, itā€™s basically water in a canā€¦sometimes flavored. When you think about the competition a company that sells water might have, itā€™s astronomical. šŸ“ˆ

So what sets Liquid Death apart from its competition?

Their marketing.

They are 100% crushing it.

Even when they get a review that says, ā€œIā€™d rather lick sweat off a fat guyā€™s back than drink liquid deathā€, šŸ’§ they somehow managed to create an absolutely amazing ad.

Check it out belowā€¦but WARNING, while hilarious, itā€™s a little gross, lol.

So whatā€™s a negative about your brand or even the industry that you can flip the script on in your marketing? šŸ¤”

[C]oaching:

I finally had the chance to sit down with my good friend, Nimesh Patel for an incredible Agent After Hours. Just for reference, Nimesh runs one of the top 5 teams in all of Texas. Watch the video below to learn from one of the best. šŸ”½šŸ”½

Here are the 3 key takeaways you'll gain from this episode:

1. Planning and batching your video content: šŸ“¹ Learn how Nimesh and his team efficiently plan and produce engaging videos that resonate with their audience.

2. Showcasing high-end properties:šŸ’° Find out how Nimesh strategically showcases not only his own listings but also builder listings to create a win-win situation for his audience and the builders.

3. Staying busy in a slow market: šŸ˜„ If you're a newer agent or expecting a slower market in the next six months, Nimesh shares three top strategies to keep yourself busy and productive.

[H]ow To:

Creating good content is hard. If it were easy, everyone would be going viral all the time.

Going viral requires a perfect stormšŸŒŖā€¦and a bit of luck. šŸ€

You have to post at the right time of day, be on trend, engage within the first 5 seconds, have the right sound attached, and pick a topic people are searching for. Even if you do these five things perfectly, your video is STILL not guaranteed to go viral. šŸ™„

How do you ensure that the content you post will at least get the views you are looking for?

First consistency is key. If you arenā€™t posting at all, how are you supposed to gain views? šŸ¤·

Second, having the right tools.

Over the many years, we have been doing this, we have gathered some must use tools that really save our butt.

TubeBuddy: TubeBuddy is a FREE browser extension that allows you to see what keywords are trending, specific tags other videos are using and get an overall breakdown of potential videos you might make. This is mainly used for YouTube but will give you an overall idea of what videos you should be making elsewhere. After downloading, all you have to do is search for the potential video title you want to make and check the ā€œSearch Explorerā€ on the top right. This will break down search volume, how many searches a month the topic gets, how competitive the video topic is, and the overall score.

BIGVU: Keep messing up on video? Use a teleprompter. All the broadcasters on TV do it, there is nothing wrong with it. You can use BIGVU on your phone, laptop, ipad or computer. All of the recording and script writing is done inside the app. However, you can just use it as a teleprompter and record elsewhere.

Capcut: If you are an avid TikTok user you will have heard of Capcut. Iā€™ve used many video editors before and Iā€™ve dropped pretty much all of them to use Capcut. Not only is it excellent for searching trending TikTok videos, but the desktop version is perfect for long form videos. šŸ‘

That is the BIGGEST grip I have with video editors. You have to use a billion different editors just to get one final result. I find CapCut gives me everything I need without flipping between 6 different editors. šŸ‘Œ I also LOVE their text templates. They offer so many professional, slick options that really make the video pop.

Canva: Odds are you have heard of Canva at least once before. If not, it is basically the best graphic design site for beginners. You can create social media posts, videos, thumbnails, listing presentations, buyer/seller packets, postcards, and basically anything that is a print or digital design you can create with Canva. They offer thousands of templates that you can use. All you need to do is input what information you want and BOOM done. šŸ‘šŸ‘

Creating content is hard. One of my biggest recommendations is not to use too many tools to create. Have a solid set of 3-5 tools that are GO TOS and stick with them. When you start to dabble with multiple tools, it can become overwhelming and stressful very quickly.
