Do you ever find yourself getting so caught up in the hustle and bustle of your day that you forget important details from your meetings or webinars? 😥 Maybe you get distracted by your phone, or your mind wanders to that new restaurant you've been meaning to try. 💭

Well, fear not my fellow agents, because I've got a solution that will help you stay on top of your game: Fireflies.ai.

This nifty little tool is like a personal assistant that takes notes for you during meetings and webinars. So, even if you get sidetracked by a buzzing phone or a grumbling stomach, you won't miss a beat. 👍 And the best part? It transcribes your notes into text, so you can easily refer back to them later.

Plus, Fireflies.ai integrates with all your favorite chat apps like Slack and Zoom, so you can take notes without ever leaving the conversation. 🤯 No more frantically scribbling on scraps of paper or trying to decipher your chicken scratch later on.

So, if you want to stay on top of your game and never miss a beat, give Fireflies.ai a try.

Your clients will thank you for it.

Cheers to staying focused and organized! 👏👏👏

[E]ducation:

You know who's got some serious clout in the world of politics? 🏘️

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) and their local associations.

These guys are like the Avengers of the real estate world, except instead of fighting off alien invasions, they're lobbying for policies that benefit real estate agents and their clients. 👍 And boy, do they have some pull!

They've successfully swayed legislation on everything from taxes to mortgage lending to housing affordability. 💰 Basically, they're the reason why you can still afford to buy a home even if you're not a millionaire.

So if you're a Realtor, know that they've got your back in Congress.

While this is definitely on the local level, I recently received an email from Dayton Realtors that urged us to reach out to the city of Dayton…here it the quick summary:

“The city of Dayton is pushing through a Source of Income Discrimination Legislation. This legislation will add a source of income to the protected classes in the city of Dayton, including HUD Choice vouchers. This bill is effectively causing all housing providers in the city of Dayton to join the HUD Voucher program. “

Not only did they bring attention to an issue that I didn’t even know was at stake, but they wrote an email for me to send to the commissioners. 🤗

So, regardless of your political affiliation it is certainly worth your time to look into RPAC. ⬅️⬅️

So, we are at the R4 RE/MAX Conference this week and it can be overwhelming. Don't make things overcomplicated when they don't have to be. KEEP. IT. SIMPLE. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

[H]ow To:

I continue to preach it but social media is a must in today's market. Your social media profile is one of the first things your potential clients are going to look up.

Think of it as an online resume or portfolio. 📱📱

If you aren’t good at displaying and marketing yourself how will your clients have faith that you can do it with their home? 🤔

But I get it, we wear many hats.🧢🧢 Do you really want to add social media marketer to your already long list of jobs? Not to mention, nothing is more disheartening than putting the effort and time into something but not seeing the return on your investment. So, what are the steps you need to do to get those leads you are looking for?

  1. Make sure you are posting when people will see it. Whatever you do, don’t schedule your posts to go out on weekdays at 5 PM. Weekdays at 5 PM are typically when most of your audience will be driving home from work and not actively scrolling on social media. Try posting between 6 PM to 9 PM and 12 PM to 3 PM instead. ⬅️⬅️

  2. Display your website link in a location that is easy to find. On Facebook and Twitter, you can control where you put the link. I recommend putting the link close to the beginning of your posts that way people don’t have to scroll to find it. Here is a template to follow…⬇️⬇️⬇️

[Longer explanation of content]

  1. Use images and videos. 📹 With the fast-paced lives many people live, it’s harder now more than ever to capture — and retain — attention spans. Nothing stops someone from scrolling on their social media quite like eye catching content. The more knowledgeable the better. People want to gain something when looking at any sort of content so make sure to educate! 📚

  2. Engage with your audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews. Show them that you care about their needs and are willing to help. Also, participate in relevant groups and communities where your target audience is active. 🎯 This can help you build relationships and establish trust.

  3. Social media ads are an effective way to reach your target audience. You can target your ads based on demographics, interests, and behaviors. By running targeted ads, you can ensure that your message reaches the right people at the right time. 📱📱

Recently I sat down with Nicole Riegler, a social media pro, and she gave some great tips on how to get started and what she has learned throughout her journey.
