[T]echnology:

Oooohhhh…I may have a favorite new device. šŸ

Is it a bit creepy to have a wearable that listens all the time…slightly.

Do I turn it off when I’m at home with my family…absolutely.

But, after one day, I’m convinced that nearly everyone needs these.

It automatically started creating a to-do list for me simply based on conversations!!! 🤯

I immediately told my wife the kids needed these for school, but she did not concur.

Regardless, I do believe this can make your day more efficient and productive. 🧠

The best part - they’re only $50! I’m sure they’ll have some kind of subscription in the future, but so far, it’s everything I hoped my Plaudnote would be.

[E]ducation:

Chris Smith just put on a masterclass on April Fools with this:

The social post directed agents to visit http://donotanswerlist.org/ to see if they were on the list.

I’m sure it would be misleading to collect actual info on a site like this, but the point is that he used AI - https://lovable.dev/ to create this site with a few clicks of a button and created a massively entertaining and engaging April Fools prank.

Critical Thinking: 🧠

Now, think about how you can do the same?

It doesn’t have to be an April Fools prank.

What if you created a site for your VIP clients with your contractor recommendations?

What if you took that site and posted it to social as a FREE item of value but actually did collect user info in exchange for your invaluable list?

Hmmm…I know what I’m working on this afternoon.

I was recently asked in the RE/MAX Trailblazers group:

What is your #1 tip for someone who might just be getting started online, to support their social media/digital journey?

My response: If you’re not doing video, get over it and start! Find your niche and go all in. šŸ“¹

I followed it up with this statement and video: Community/restaurant/bar videos are one of the easiest ways to get started with video and get a ton of engagement.

It’s not perfect, but it was fun to shoot. It was fun to try a new place, and it took less than 60 seconds of me actually filming.

DO VIDEO!

But remember and listen to Nimesh (who has 13k+ followers):

ā€œBE YOURSELF! Don’t try to be the ā€œsuccessfulā€ agent on media that you see all the time. People want to see your authentic self so start with that. Then, it’s all about consistency. A plan of what content to post weekly, from personal, to real estate, to community, to pets, to anything to show your true self and personality.ā€

If you haven’t seen these yetā€¦ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø

Where have you been? People are having a field day with this… including me! I’ve probably made over 100 of these images in the past three days. Were any of them productive? You tell me…

Jokes aside, this is game-changing—but also extremely soul-crushing, as I ran a side hustle in college, making things very similar to this. Graphic designers are in big trouble. 😭

As a marketer, I’m still trying to wrap my head around the whole thing. Now, I understand how marketers felt when digital advertising was first introduced. Where do you even begin?

I’m not sure where this will lead for my career, but I can tell you how to help yours. ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø

Creating these fun images is actually incredibly easy—that’s the beauty of it.

All you need to do is open ChatGPT, click the "Add Attachment" button, upload a photo of yourself that you want the action figure to be based on, and save the generated image like so…

Now you might get some weird results—your hair might look off, you could end up really short or really tall—but just reply with whatever you want fixed, and eventually, you should get something you like.

For your replies, simply state what you want changed:

šŸ‘‰ "You made me too short; make the figure a little taller."

šŸ‘‰ "You made me bald; give the action figure some hair."

(For some reason, it does seem to enjoy making people bald and fat—maybe a jab from AI to us humans. šŸ˜†

Now, this is silly and probably won’t do much for your business beyond getting some likes, but hey, it’s fun and a great way to start experimenting with AI. Just think about the possibilities—room staging, quick graphic creation, flyers—truly anything.
