[T]echnology:

I tried out Claude AIā€™s new ā€œcomputer useā€ where it takes over your computer and can do everything for you.

The immediate impression was ā€œOh Myā€¦ā€ but that faded quickly when I burned through my credits in less than 5 minutes even with a heft allowance, and still didnā€™t complete the task I assigned. šŸ™„

Then I stumbled upon this video:

I know itā€™s not all-encompassing, but think of the use for home inspectors, contractors, reports, and even listing descriptions (Iā€™ve already covered generating these from photos).

In the next 12 months, AI will change our lives and if youā€™re not embracing it, you will be replaced by someone who does. šŸšØ

[E]ducation:

I donā€™t even remember where I downloaded this photo from, but as an advocate to ā€œnever stop learning,ā€ I thought the education section this week would benefit from some book recommendations.

Letā€™s be clear, I donā€™t readā€¦I listen to these on Audible, but thatā€™s how I best digest contentā€¦watching or listening. šŸ‘ļøšŸ‘‚

Needless to say, these are on my list to finish in the next year.

[C]oaching:

Iā€™ve said it before and Iā€™ll say it again. If youā€™re the smartest person in the room, maybe itā€™s time to find another room.

This past Monday, I had the chance to join Tad Fulford, Nimesh Patel, and Charlie Foxworth for an incredible Rise Up in Real Estate.

I can assure you, there are more than just a few nuggets to take away from this Town Hall.

I was just lucky to be in the room. šŸ€

Instagram recently unveiled a new feature that makes sharing your profile much easier. Instead of telling someone your @handle, you simply navigate to your page and click ā€œShare Profile.ā€ A QR code and a ā€œdigital business cardā€ will pop up, which you can share in person or download to post or attach to any printed materials. šŸ“–

On the topic of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, recently confirmed that the platform saves high video quality only for popular videos. What does this mean? šŸ¤” If youā€™re wondering why your video quality significantly drops after uploading, this is the reason. If a video isnā€™t getting views after a certain amount of time, Instagram will downgrade it to a lower quality. However, if the video starts gaining views again, Instagram will restore it to a higher quality. Which if Iā€™m being honest is VERY SILLY. šŸ™„ I know they only have certain bandwidth, but of course my video wonā€™t be performing well if you downgrade the quality.

Adam also mentioned that including your own logo in a video is acceptable and wonā€™t reduce your videoā€™s visibility. HOWEVER, this does not apply to logos from competitors, such as TikTok.

If you didnā€™t already know hereā€™s something to keep in mind: If you create a video on TikTok and repurpose it with your TikTok handle or the TikTok outro when uploading to Instagram, the platform will ensure that your video underperforms. Why? Itā€™s simple-TikTok is Instagramā€™s biggest competitor, and they want to avoid any form of advertising for it. āŒ

How do you work around it? Always save your video BEFORE posting to TikTok. This will save the video without the TikTok handle. If you post and save after there really isnā€™t much you can do to get rid of it. ALWAYS SAVE BEFORE POSTING!
