[T]echnology:

I’ve talked about AI avatars quite a bit, and even talked about the use of AI in film, but Google’s new VEO 3 is freaking insane. ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø

It’s one of those moments where I don’t know what to say.

Similar to when ChatGPT launched. I’m just sitting here staring at the wall, trying to process the capabilities, the use cases, and repercussions.

Stay tuned…I’ll definitely be giving this a whirl and will report back…in the meantime, trust nothing! šŸ˜‚

[E]ducation/[C]oaching:

I’m combining these two sections because this week I’m incorporating both, and it will be rather lengthy. ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø

Last week I had the opportunity and privilege to speak to not one, but three incredible groups of agents in California. The topic was obviously AI, but even when I am teaching, I find takeaways.

The agents ranged from brand new to AI to very competent. When this happens, it can be tough because you’re trying to go fast enough that you’re not losing the agents that know what they’re doing, but not too fast that you’re losing the ones that struggle with tech to begin with.

So two takeaways: ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø

I talk with ChatGPT for at least an hour a day. Whether asking for assistance, more detailed answers than Google, or brainstorming. - If you don’t know what to use ChatGPT for, start there. If you don’t know what to ask, ask what to ask.

Second, the speed at which you do client-facing presentations (listing/buyer) matters. If you don’t meet the clients where they are in the process, it can come off as insincere or robotic.

This is where questions matter. šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

Is this their 1st home? 10th home? Do they have family in the business? Why are they selling or buying (sometimes it’s not an exciting experience)? I could go on and on, but this is where AI actually shines.

Have you seen the school in Texas that’s using AI for two hours a day to help students learn at their own pace?

Their students are testing in the top 1-2% in the country.

I love that they use the extra time to explore creativity and passions like music and swimming, and more importantly, interacting with each other and doing what kids do best - playing.

So when we talk about AI replacing our jobs, I don’t think that’s the case just yet…maybe in as little as 5-10 years, but not yet. šŸ˜‰

In the meantime, you can use AI as a superpower and be 10x as productive…so do it.

You can even go for a walk and have a voice conversation with ChatGPT and roll play like it’s a potential client…

With Canva’s new feature, it’s now incredibly easy to create every type of Facebook ad you may need. When creating a Facebook ad, there are typically three sizes you'll be asked to upload. While it's not strictly required, the ad display may appear off if you don't. ā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļøā¬‡ļø

Typically, you’ll need a 1080 x 1080 pixel square image, a vertical ad (like those used for Stories or Reels) at 1080 x 1920 pixels—either image or video—and a horizontal ad at 1200 x 628 pixels. Before this Canva update, it was frustrating to create three separate projects for the different sizes. Now, you can include any size you need within a single project.

Here’s how to do it:

Create your first ad. Once you're done, navigate to the bottom of your design. You’ll see a plus sign and an up arrow. Click the up arrow labeled ā€œAdd page type.ā€

Click ā€œadd page typeā€ then select ā€œmoreā€ if you don’t see the design size you want. Customize your ad size or select one of the other options.

All of your different size designs will be in one area at the bottom of your project. This makes it so much easier to save all of them in one place and go back to them when making edits!

Once you resize you’ll have to copy and paste your ad over and move some of the items around. This will take a few minutes to get them where you like them but much easier than before.
