CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, is one of my favorite events of the year!

This is where most of the tech companies show off their future offerings, and it’s already started off with some really cool stuff. ⬇️⬇️

Here are my top three thus far:

The LG StanByME 2 (I’m not sure how I missed there was a 1st Gen) looks really freaking cool and is basically a 27-inch battery-powered touchscreen display. Imagine having one of these as a sign in sheet at your next Open House or using it as a mobile billboard at literally any event you attend. 🤯

Wow Mouse works on Apple Watch or Google Watches and allows you to control your mouse with hand gestures!!! I love this idea and will be testing for mobile presenting…I wonder if it will work with the LG StanByME 2?

Finally, I guess this is really a top 4 list, because I can’t decide on which of these I like more…

The Lexar Professional Go SSD makes a compelling argument to record in ProRes on the iPhone.

While the Hohem M7 Gimbal makes sure you’re able to use the best camera on your phone and framed up correctly using…you guessed it…AI.

[C]oaching:

Now that we’re not trapped in from the snowpocalypse, most agents will return to business as usual, but what can you do to stay productive and top of mind when you’re stuck at home not sure how to stay productive?

1) Go Live on whatever platform you prefer!!! 📱

Don’t just go live though…let people know you’ll go live at a specific time and what you’ll cover. The chances of them seeing your live while it’s actually live are slim if they don’t know about it beforehand.

2) Create a list of snowed-in tips or fun ideas and text it to your sphere. 🌨️

This one is pretty self-explanatory. If you need inspiration, ask ChatGPT.

3) Get Face to Face 🧑

Ok, I know this may sound impossible, but if you want to get down to business, send your sphere a text like:

“Hey ________! Hope you’re staying warm! I’m running reports for some other clients and thought you might be interested in how your home’s value has changed…let me know if you want to hop on a quick Zoom or Facetime!”

Again, these work great when you’re actually snowed in but can be tweaked when you’re just looking for something to keep you productive.

Communicating with clients isn’t just about being available via text or phone call 24/7. It’s about having the right tools to stay organized, prepared, and confident.

What can you use in 2025 to help you communicate more effectively?

⬇️⬇️⬇️

  • If you aren’t already using Canva…not to be harsh, but…what’s wrong with you?

  • Canva offers both a free and paid version. I use Canva more than 20 times a day, so the paid version definitely comes in handy, but I’d suggest starting with the free version first.

  • Create a portfolio of your previous work, a buyer/seller guide, an FAQ packet, and a local guide with the best places (eateries, bars, hiking trails, hidden gems) in the area. Put all of this together in a neat little folder, and you’re ready to make an amazing first impression.

Create a Video Library 📹

  • Think about all the questions you get asked daily—questions you answer over and over again. It’s time to create a video library to answer those questions and make them easily accessible for your clients.

  • Sure, some people will still ask the same questions and ignore the videos, but a large majority will appreciate the effort and love the fact that you had a response ready for them before they even asked.

Email Your Database 📧

  • Emailing your database regularly isn’t just about staying in touch—it’s a powerful tool for effective communication. By reaching out consistently, you create a direct line to your clients, keeping them informed and engaged with relevant updates, market trends, and personalized insights.

  • I recommend using tools like Follow Up Boss, Constant Contact, or MailChimp.

Automated Texting 📱

  • Automated texting is a great way to keep things running smoothly with your real estate database, making communication faster and easier. Quick responses are key, and automated texts let you send timely updates to clients without the wait. Whether it’s letting them know about a new listing, reminding them of an appointment, or confirming a showing, automation ensures your clients never miss an important detail.

  • I recommend using platforms like Twilio and HubSpot.

By incorporating these tools in 2025, you'll be able to communicate more efficiently and effectively with your clients, building stronger relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Remember to always work smarter, not harder.
