[T]echnology: Nano-Banana Who?

In typical leapfrog 🐸 innovation fashion, Open AI one-upped Google’s Nano Banana šŸŒ by launching Sora 2. Like Nano Banana, it can use your face a simple prompt, but instead of photos, Sora 2 creates insane, life like videos. Here’s one I just created:

It’s not perfect by any means, but I have a this is already becoming a huge social trend. Open AI has basically created it’s own social network where you can like and comment on other Sora 2 creations.

Here’s the wild part…

These videos are pulling in hundreds of millions of views, and most people have no clue they’re AI-generated.

We’ve officially hit that point where the line between what’s real and what’s AI-created is getting blurrier by the day.

Sora 2 isn’t just good at realism. It nails cinematic šŸŽ„, anime, and everything in between while keeping the same world consistent across multiple shots.

Bottom line… the internet’s about to get a whole lot harder to trust.

What do you think? Exciting or terrifying? šŸ¤”šŸ’¬

Speaking of OpenAI…

I've seen a lot of posts revolving around the announcement on Monday that ChatGPT would have a Zillow integration, where users can ask ChatGPT to find what they're looking for instead of searching for it themselves.

Most of the posts have illustrated that this could violate the MLS terms and even highlight the speed at which ChatGPT has grown and how this will revolutionize the home search.

I disagree on this.

I’m not saying I like it, but it’s really no different than a search engine interacting with a users query from indexed data. If they are ā€œexclusiveā€ that would be a monopoly type scenario and have other repercussions but A) that’s not going to be the case. Open AI is basically creating an app store for anyone to connect their App. Zillow just happened to be first. And B) It’s new…there are really no rules around how app connectors and APIs are limited.

Also, no mistake. Google is still king.

So while every coach on the planet is telling you to make sure that your site is optimized for ChatGPT and I encourage you do so, don't sleep on Google or YouTube.

[C]oaching:

Too often, I see agents trying to work every niche on the planet, but none of them well.

Instead of being stretched a mile wide and an inch deep, double down and go all in on your niche.

Meanwhile, every agent on the planet is yelling virtually the same thing to compete for attention…Just listed, just sold posts, video walk-throughs - they all look the same! I get it, branding is important, but DARE you to be DIFFERENT!

Here’s the perfect example:

This didn’t start the same as every other home tour, it caught my attention!

AI is only creating the opportunity for you to be creative and do just that.

Instagram recently released an option to upload super skinny, long videos to your feed. These are a great way to catch someone’s attention and stop their doom scroll.

You can do this with any video you already have—just open CapCut and import your video!

  • At the very bottom right of your displayed video, click the ā€œRatioā€ button.

  • Select Custom and change the dimensions to 5120x1080.

  • Stretch your video to cover all of the black space.

  • Export your video and save it to your phone.

Now, upload it like you would a normal Reel.

Something that threw me off at first: in the preview before posting, Instagram still shows the black bars on the top and bottom. But don’t worry—I tested it, and once it’s live, Instagram automatically removes them. You’ll still get that sleek, skinny post you’re going for!
