[T]echnology:
RPR woke up feeling cute and jumped on the AI train. 🐶🚂

RPR added AI via their Market Trends Script Writer to give agents an incredible resource to create scripts for videos and social media posts without the need to learn ChatGPT.

Leveraging local stats from the MLS and giving that data away in bite-sized pieces is exactly what John Clark and I talked about in this week's episode of Agent After Hours:

Even if you’ve never used RPR or video, this is worth a few minutes of your time. ⏰👀

As I’ve said in the past, AI won’t replace real estate agents, but agents that utilize AI will.

If RPR, which isn’t known for adding features quickly, can add AI, I expect many others to follow suit, and some really cool tools could be on the horizon specific to agents. 🏠🔍

[E]ducation: Entertainment/Education

This is a long watch and falls under the category of both Entertainment and Education, but Marie Lee, aka @MoveMeToTennessee does an incredible job with not only her IG account but also sends out her Nashville Hot Takes newsletter with info similar to what John and I discussed in the video linked in the Technology section above. 🎥📚

Don’t reinvent the wheel. ⚙️🔄

When you see agents successful with posts, accounts, or content, make it your own and send it out to your sphere and database! 📲💼

[C]oaching:

I know we talk about and sometimes even obsess about followers and social media accounts (see above), but don’t get discouraged when you’re account doesn’t blow up overnight. 🚀🌙

It’s easy to get caught up in the glamour of social media, but you’re not Fergy…Yes, that’s an early 2000’s reference for my younger millennials. 📱👵

It doesn’t matter if you have 5 followers or 5,000.

It matters that your content is relatable and digestible.🗣️📖

It matters that your audience (your sphere and database) finds the information that you’re putting out useful.

I think there is a misconception that having a massive social media following equates to becoming a mega agent. However, I know agents with massive followings that don’t sell anything and agents that sell a ton and have virtually no social presence.

Social media can certainly boost your visibility, but a the end of the day, it won’t necessarily boost your sales. 💻💰

Social should be an extension of your brand and help you reach your sphere and sometimes even those outside your sphere, but this comes with time and authenticity.

It comes with perfecting your messaging and your brand.

Take the time to learn and develop this craft. 📚

But again, it doesn’t matter if your following is 5 or 5k…those 5 people will know 5 more, who know 5 more, etc. and if your content is good enough (hint use RPR), you’ll become the trusted expert, and they’ll forward your videos to their sphere or even better…the people they know that are looking to buy or sell! 🌟🏡

[H]ow To:
With the rise of short-form video content, YouTube Shorts have become a powerful tool for creators like yourself to engage with viewers. During our month-long endeavor of posting consistently every single day, we observed several recurring patterns.

Some of the patterns we noticed include:

Attach a trending sound: No matter the video, you should attach a sound to your short. Our videos that had trending sounds outperformed our videos that didn’t ten times over. Like TikTok, YouTube wants you to post what is on trend to keep the viewers engaged and coming back to the app. By posting videos with trending sounds, YouTube sees your content as something relevant and trendy that their viewers will probably enjoy, therefore they push your content. 🔊📈

Post before lunch: There are two time frames we usually post our content at, 11 AM and 4 PM. Our videos that were posted before lunch usually were the ones that performed better. This is something you will probably have to play with yourself, as your audience could be on YouTube at different times than ours, but posting earlier it gives your video more daytime to grow. 🕚📈

Add Captions or Text Overlays: As Shorts are often viewed without sound, consider adding captions or text overlays to enhance viewer understanding and engagement. It allows people to follow along even if they can't listen to the audio.

Add a description and tags: The negative about Shorts is you have to post off your phone. At least for now. Therefore you aren’t able to add a lengthy description or tags. After you post your short go into the video manager section on your desktop. Click to edit your short and it’ll give you the option to add a longer description and tags. Think about what people would be searching that would bring them to your video and add as much text as you can relating to the topic.

Analyze Performance and Adapt: Everyone’s audience is going to be different. Monitor the performance of your Shorts. Pay attention to metrics such as views, watch time, engagement, and audience retention. Whatever is performing for you, create more content centered on those topics.

Post with purpose.

Remember, creating successful YouTube Shorts requires experimentation, creativity, and staying in tune with your audience's preferences. You may notice something that works for your channel that maybe we haven’t noticed yet. Without posting and experimenting, you’ll never know what will work. 📊🔬
